| Puppy |
An introduction to training for puppies
4 to 6 months of age. Puppies are taught basic exercises with an emphasis on puppy
socialization and education of owners. |
| Beginning 1 |
An introduction to basic obedience
including heeling, sit, down, stay, and come. Owners learn techniques to train and control
their dogs. |
| Beginning 2 |
A continuation of Beginning 1.
Introduces more advanced heeling, recalls, and hand signals. Dogs will learn all
sub-novice exercises. |
| Intermediate |
Fine tuning of the sub-novice exercises.
Introduction to novice exercises and foundation work for advanced exercises. May be
repeated until dogs are ready for formal Novice work. |

Prepares dogs and handlers for
competition in the AKC Novice Obedience class to work toward the Companion Dog title. |
| Open |
Prepares dogs and handlers for
competition in the AKC Open Obedience class to work toward the Companion Dog Excellent
title. |

Prepares dogs and handlers for
competition in the AKC Utility Obedience class to work toward the Utility Dog title. |
| Attention |
Teaches the dog to focus on the handler
in preparation for competitive obedience work. |
