The Monterey Bay Dog Training Club is staffed with highly qualified professional trainers. We actively support a continuing education program to extend the expertise of our trainers.

Conformation Conducted by experienced handlers to prepare dogs and owners for Breed competition.
   
Puppy An introduction to training for puppies 4 to 6 months of age. Puppies are taught basic exercises with an emphasis on puppy socialization and education of owners.
Beginning 1 An introduction to basic obedience including heeling, sit, down, stay, and come. Owners learn techniques to train and control their dogs.
Beginning 2 A continuation of Beginning 1. Introduces more advanced heeling, recalls, and hand signals. Dogs will learn all sub-novice exercises.
Intermediate Fine tuning of the sub-novice exercises. Introduction to novice exercises and foundation work for advanced exercises. May be repeated until dogs are ready for formal Novice work.
   
Novice Prepares dogs and handlers for competition in the AKC Novice Obedience class to work toward the Companion Dog title.
Open Prepares dogs and handlers for competition in the AKC Open Obedience class to work toward the Companion Dog Excellent title.
Utility Prepares dogs and handlers for competition in the AKC Utility Obedience class to work toward the Utility Dog title.
Attention Teaches the dog to focus on the handler in preparation for competitive obedience work.
